The initiative served as a moment of togetherness for stakeholders in the commodity futures trading industry while also delivering social support to the community through donations for orphaned children.

The Ramadan series began on 2 March 2026 in Jakarta with an iftar gathering attended by exchange members, clearing members, and various stakeholders from the PBK industry. The event was also attended by representatives from key regulators, including Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Agency (Bappebti).

The gathering featured opening remarks from the organizers as well as a religious lecture reflecting on values of togetherness, social care, and the importance of maintaining integrity in both daily life and professional activities within the industry.

During the event, Jakarta Futures Exchange and KBI also distributed donations to 36 orphaned children as part of their social responsibility initiative during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Ramadan activities continued on 5 March 2026 in Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung, through another iftar gathering with participants from the physical tin market. The event, held at Tsahang Restaurant, was attended by tin industry participants, local media representatives, and children from Nur Rahmah Orphanage and Muara Kasih Bunda Orphanage.

At this event, Jakarta Futures Exchange and KBI also provided donations to 84 orphaned children from the two orphanages.

Overall, through these two activities, donations were distributed to 120 orphaned children, reflecting the social commitment of the commodity futures trading industry.
