JFX and Cyber University Sign Cooperation Agreement on Education, Research, and Development

Jakarta, 26 January 2026 - PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta (Jakarta Futures Exchange or JFX), the first and largest futures exchange in Indonesia, officially signed a Cooperation Agreement with Cyber University on Monday, 26 January 2026.

The agreement focuses on collaboration in education, research, and talent development within the futures trading industry, aimed at strengthening synergy between higher education institutions and industry.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the Rector of Cyber University, Mr. Gunawan Witjaksono, Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng, and the President Director of PT Bursa Berjangka Jakarta, Mr. Yazid Kanca Surya.

Through this partnership, both parties agreed to implement joint programs including public lectures, seminars, workshops, webinars, and training activities related to futures trading. The cooperation also covers joint research and publications, talent development programs such as internships and competitions, as well as the organization of educational events and academic related corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Mr. Yazid Kanca Surya stated that collaboration with educational institutions plays an important role in strengthening future human capital.

“As the first and largest futures exchange in Indonesia, JFX is committed to supporting education, research, and talent development to enhance understanding of the futures trading industry,” he said.

The cooperation agreement is valid for one year from the signing date and may be extended based on mutual agreement. All activities will be conducted in accordance with applicable regulations in higher education and the futures trading industry.

Through this collaboration, JFX aims to contribute to the development of applied research, education, and the readiness of young talent to face the evolving dynamics of Indonesia’s futures industry.
